WHAT TO EXPECT

We believe that church shouldn't have to be endured, but can actually be enjoyed! Think of our Sunday Gathering as a party with good music, a bunch of friendly people that are genuinely glad you're there and plenty of free coffee to keep you highly caffeinated!

Our worship gathering lasts about 65 minutes where you'll hear music from our live band and a message from one of our pastors that's easy to connect with and apply to your life Monday through Saturday.

TIPS FOR YOUR FIRST TIME

We know that going somewhere new can be scary and intimidating but go ahead and breathe a deep sigh of relief because when you join us we'll never single you out or embarass you. We'd love to meet you though so be sure to fill out a connect card online here or in person during service and take it to the next steps table and receive a free gift from your friends at The Gathering!

We have an excellent kid’s experience at The Gathering Church. Our trained volunteers make sure the kids have an exciting and fun experience learning about God and Biblical values. Find out more HERE
Creative and relevant teaching is very important at The Gathering. One of our teaching pastors will guide you through the practical and timeless truths from the Bible with humor and sincerity. We hope you find the teaching inspiring and applicable to your everyday life. You can find previous messages on Spotify, Vimeo, YouTube, and Podcasts.
We aren't tied to a specific denomination because we want our focus to be on the only thing that matters and unites us all, Jesus! The Gathering is home to people from all types of backgrounds, beliefs and denominations.
Typically, Pastor John Mark and our other pastors use the NIV. However, we think the best version is the one that you can understand and you'll actually read! Contrary to popular belief, Jesus did not carry or read a certain version of the Bible.
Clothes. A hat. If it's cold, maybe a jacket. Seriously, it's up to you so wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. We’re more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear. Most people dress in casual weekend attire, so dress how you feel comfortable and you’ll fit right in. We're just glad you're there!
Not even close. Believe it or not, 99.8% of the ministry of The Gathering Church is carried out by our amazing volunteer team AKA the Dreamteam. Also, 93% of statistics are made up on the spot ;)

One of our main goals for every Sunday service is for people to be able to connect with God and with each other. We invite you to fill out the Connect Card, which is our way of knowing who you are, what kind of needs you might have, and how we can serve you better. Please stop by our First Time Guest table in the café to find more ways to connect with others.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

At GatherKids, your child won’t have a chance to be bored! Newborns (starting at 6 weeks old) through 5th graders have a ton of fun as they learn about Jesus through worship, age-specific lessons, and a variety of exciting activities. Our goal is to make Sunday your child’s favorite day of the week. We can't make your kids love Jesus but we can help them love church!

GatherKids is fully staffed with a highly trained team of leaders who are background checked and committed to ministering to children. You can be confident that your child is well-cared for and will love every second!

Check-in begins 15 minutes before our experience where you'll either register your child for the first time or if you've been before, you'll just check them in on our touch screen computer. Each child will receive a sticker tag and a parent tag that you'll need in order to pick them up after our experience is over. Want to speed up the check-in process?
